Press Release Body = The newest addition to Virginia College\'s curricula, The Virginia College School of Construction, held its first high school student Scholarship Day on Saturday, June 3rd. Recent high school graduates or those who will graduate in the next year attended in order to learn more about offered programs and degrees as well as college scholarships in construction trades, carpentry and electrician training programs.
Students enrolling in the school may complete training for a 12-month diploma or an 18-month associate\'s degree. The curricula includes classroom work as well as developing hands-on skills by actually building a structure in the school\'s facility using techniques, tools and equipment students will encounter in the workplace.
